Last day in London

Karen arrived home late last night...here's a photo of the parking lot outside our dorm on Wednesday morning:

Sometimes it's good to be home.

Day 8 -- Mopping up the decks

Today was the day to use up the London Pass we bought. We managed pretty well. Two boats and a souk, then off to the cinema...

Admiral for a day:

Jason's Trip, much different that Divine Right's Trip:

This man made me a lovely sandwich, or wrap, or something. It was a Turkish delight:

The End Of The World. The irony is painful to behold:

Dang. I lose again:

And finally, proof that I really am in Ankh-Moorpork:

Day 7 -- Low and high ceilings

Churchill's War Cabinet rooms, and Westminster Cathedral...and the Queen headed out for bangers and mash.

Day 6 -- Reaching new heights

An icon:

From the top of Tower Bridge.

The floor of St. Paul's, from 355 feet above...

From the Golden Gallery at St. Paul's.

Waterloo (at) Sunset

Day 4 -- Thomas Wolfe was right

The Queen and Lady GaGa invited us in, but the camera didn't work inside for some reason.

A lecture about the spread of Cholera was delivered on this site on 31 July 2011.

Prince Charlie's chickens - we got invited into his backyard.

And the Prince's bodyguards...looks just like 1776, with automatic weapons.

Queen Vicky sits in the sun, working on her tan. She could use some color.

Home again after 330 years. Gee, the place has changed a bit.

A phone box. After all, we are tourists.

The Wedding Cake church on a sunny day, just to make Jason jealous.

The way home.

Day 3 -- Stirred, not shaken
